Originally from Quebec City, Jérôme 50 began his career as a street musician. Bolstered by the success of his debut album La hiérarchill and his project Le camp de vacances de Jérôme 49, Jérôme 50 saw his song “Tokébakicitte” break broadcasting records by reaching the top of the francophone radio charts, followed by “Les ramasseux d’canettes” and “Lit double”, which were also resounding successes. These three songs appear on his second album, Antigéographiquement, released in November 2023. A proud independentist, he publishes in October 2024 the Dictionnaire du chilleur with Le Robert Québec. He then launches the singles “La plus belle fille du moshpit”, “Y’a pu d’poude dans poude” and «Le pauvre riche», which set the ska-punk-folk-trash direction for a third album Anarcolique released on May 2nd 2025.
