Auberge Festive Sea Shack Booking Policy
1. Online booking
You can book your stay with us directly via our website. Select your dates of stay, type of accommodation (cabin, room, house, dormitory, campsite or camper van) and complete the online booking form.
2. Booking confirmation
Once you have made your booking, you will receive a confirmation e-mail detailing your stay, including dates, type of accommodation, and total price.
3. Payment (for houses, cabins, rooms or dormitories)
A deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to confirm your booking. The balance will be deducted from your card 14 days before your arrival date.
4. Cancellation and change (for houses, cabins, rooms or dormitories)
Cancellations or changes can be made up to 15 days before the date of arrival free of charge (your deposit will be refunded). Within 14 days, you will pay 100% of the cost of your stay. To change your booking, please contact us directly at

A deposit of 100% of the total amount is required to confirm your booking.
6. Cancellations and changes (camping and camper van)

7. Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 3 p.m. for camping and camper van stays and from 4:30 p.m. for stays in houses, cabins, rooms or dormitories, and checkout is by 11 a.m. for all types of accommodation. In the event of a late arrival or early departure, please let us know.
8. Policy for children and minors 17 and under
Persons aged 17 and under have free access to the site, but must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or person with parental authority in order to stay at the Auberge Festive Sea Shack. All bookings must be made by persons aged 18 and over..
9. Pets
Pets are allowed on the beach and in the cabins, but must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets are not allowed in dormitories and private rooms. Pets are also not allowed in indoor common areas such as the hostel’s shared kitchen.
10. Restrictions
Smoking is prohibited in all rooms, cabins and houses. Failure to comply with this policy will result in additional cleaning charges.
11. Show tickets
When one or more ticketed shows are scheduled during the dates of your stay, whether you’re staying in a cabin, dormitory, private room, campsite or camper van, tickets will automatically be added to your shopping cart for everyone 18 and over in your group. You will not be able to remove these tickets from your shopping cart. You are responsible for the cost of these tickets if you wish to stay at the Sea Shack on show nights.
12. Security deposit for cabin stays
On the day of your arrival, a pre-authorization* of $200 will be automatically charged to your credit card. The pre-authorization will be cancelled upon checkout if the cabin is left in a condition deemed acceptable. The amount and/or part of the amount will be retained if we judge that there has been breakage or negligence resulting in additional housekeeping costs.
14. Pre-determined stays (cabins)
The duration of stays is two (2) or three (3) nights for cabin stays during weekends and high season. In fact, these are predetermined stays with fixed arrival and departure dates, which are detailed in the information sheet for each accommodation. During the low season (June and September), there is no minimum duration for weekly stays in cabins. These predetermined stays are automatically programd into our online booking platform.
15. Maximum capacity of cabins, rooms or houses (including children)
Maximum capacity varies according to accommodation type (1 to 9 adults). You must respect the maximum capacity, including children. We can make an exception for very young children who sleep in a cot or playpen (you must have your own equipment as we don’t).
16. Vehicle sizes
Recreational vehicles (RVs, camper vans) are welcome onsite. However, they must not exceed 6.4 m (21 ft) in length. We do not accept any vehicle towing anything (camper, tent-trailer, trailer, etc.).
