⚡ Warning, punk storm on the horizon! DVTR arrives with its minimalist chaos, repetitive riffs, and unpredictable energy to transform the evening into a veritable electric shock. ⚡
DVTR
Since its creation in 2023, DVTR has definitely been shaking up the Canadian punk scene, racking up dazzling reviews, best of lists, soldout shows and some bootlicking awards for their first ever EP “BONJOUR” (Hello!). Somewhere between the B-52’s and Jay Reatard, the troublemaking French-speaking duo and its unpredictable antics breaks all language barriers, on stages worldwide, from Mexico to Japan. This is fast music: short and not sweet at all: it repeats, it repeats, it repeats – that’s the only way to get the message across. Not for the aint of heart.

Dogo Suicide
With the mindset that every concert could be their last—a band named Dogo Suicide has every reason in the world to die young—the noise rock trio from Quebec City quickly made a name for themselves as much for their wild performances as for the smell of burning plastic that fills the venue as they leave the stage; Legend has it that the bass amps are allergic to their bassist’s vicious power chords. While drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of Quebec City’s seedy downtown taverns, the trio delights in navigating the diverse influences of its members while playing with punk conventions with nonchalance and impetuosity. Critics, journalists, and podcasters have always had a hard time defining Dogo Suicide’s musical genre. Here, at last, is an informed answer: post-everything but pretty punk overall. Honorable mention to the kind-hearted reviewer who once said that “limiting them to a punk band would be the equivalent of claiming that Mr. Puffs are just a dessert.” Dogo Suicide has embraced its hyperactive streak since the release of its first EP, “Sexe pour les yeux,” in September 2021. Indeed, the young trio has since performed on stage over 100 times and released three EPs, all of which were nominated at the Gala alternatif de la Musique indépendante Québécoise. TRISTESSE LUCRATIVE, their first full-length album, was released on November 7, 2025, on Disques Soluté.
